I am adjusting to my new position at my job. It was so hard the first week, but I find myself accepting that nothing in our lives is ever supposed to stay the same. I allowed myself that one week to act like a baby and cry and to grieve the loss of my work family. Now, I decided that now is a great time for me to start fresh. So, I got a makeover!
I got my nails done, a fresh hairstyle, and even went and got myself that gym membership that I have been wanting forever, but would never reward myself with. I am even now motivated to try to get in to the management program again. I guess I was a little complacent... Hmmmm
Whatever we do in our lives we always got to remember to take care of ourselves and that is something that I forgot all about when I was to comfortable on my old team. Here's to the new me!
