30 Going On 13... Part Three

First period was science class. You have to love Science.  These kids did not.  From the moment that I walked through the door it was like I wasn't even there.  The trady bell rang  and obviously nobody heard it because the noise didn't die out not one bit.
Today we are covering photosynthesis.  No one bats an eye to do the quick quiz the teacher puts on the projector.  Talking and talking... Only when she brings out her answer sheet to give the students a chance to get a 100 or a 0 do they even bother to glance her way.  That takes about 10 minutes and then the kids are distracted yet again.  She decides to send the students to their science stations to answer questions about each body system.
I am trying to take notes for my blog, but the noise level is so loud that I can't even hear myself think!  I ask the science teacher how she can stand all the distractions, talking, and disrespect each day.  She says it takes a lot of patience, but that her 1st period class is her worst all day, so at least she gets it over with at the beginning of her day.
She also tells me something that I hadn't heard about until now.  She says that recently our teachers were told they have to tell our children that they have all constitutional rights as we do as adults!  "Are you kidding me?" I ask her.  "No," she says,  "We have to tell they them their rights; such as freedom of speech, so now when I ask them to do something they say its their right to do or say whatever they want."  I am floored.
My son does not pay taxes nor does he have a right to vote,  he is a minor, he has no rights except my own!  What kind of society have we turned into that our kids are told they can do whatever they want!  This is in addition to taking God out of our schools!  How come atheists have all these rights, but now Christians don't?

And we wonder  why our country has gone to hell...

The link I've added says they have limited rights go over the news story and tell me what you think.
